Students should enjoy practicing new words and phrases and not feel frustrated. For this reason, there are some supports that we encourage to help students achieve success with any pronunciation activity.

Additionally, encourage students to listen to the example pronunciation and to decrease the speed as needed for better modeling practice before recording themselves.

Encourage students to listen to their pronunciation and try each sentence again as many times as needed to achieve mastery.
As a reminder, these activities can be edited by you before assigning. If there are words in the sentence that you know will be confusing or difficult to pronounce, click Edit Activity and make your edits to the sentences.
You can even make changes to the score that the students receive, under Review Work, if you feel the percentage grade did not reflect their work.
We hope these tips help to encourage good pronunciation practice without frustration.
