One additional feature related to the new version of SmartClass HUB is the Configuration Label, which allow us to set the server properties.

As shown below, there is an Online connection status indicator, (green circle).
Connection Configuration
To view the connection configuration, click on the Online or the Offline label beside the green or grey indicator. This panel will open:
School-Hosted Database
If the database is school-hosted, you will require an IP Address for local access to the School Server and you will require a second public IP Address for remote access to the SmartClass HomeWork Server. This information is normally provided by your IT staff.
Cloud-Hosted Database
If the database is cloud-hosted, you will need to provide the name of the Cloud Server in the School Server field, including the double hashtag (##). The second field will disappear. Again, this information is normally provided by your IT staff or system administrator
Note: If the Online connection status indicator is not green, and shows Offline, please contact your system administrator, as you will not be able to connect.
